It\u2019s no wonder then that the global chatbot market is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.drift.com\/chatbots-infographic\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">expected to grow exponentially by 2023<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the Messaging App to the Rise of the Bot<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understanding the marketing potential in chatbots, several <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">companies, brands and even news organizations are building bots on popular messaging apps, including <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.messenger.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Messenger<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.viber.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Viber<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kik.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kik<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Telegram<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and others. The shift from human-based support systems to chatbots has a lot to do with the speed and direct correspondence consumers have gotten used to due to social media platforms and messaging apps. In turn, consumers can now contact companies directly and demand immediate responses. Ironically, prior to the introduction of chatbots, support teams were trying to get back to as many users as quickly as possible without sounding too robotic. Today, in more ways than one, bots are able to pick up the slack and engage in a highly responsive, personal and immediate relationship with customers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dazeinfo.com\/2016\/12\/15\/chatbot-market-potential-adoption-2020-report\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">statistics<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> showing that 80% of companies will integrate bots into their businesses by 2020, it\u2019s no wonder bots are beginning to take over.
